After a huge Instagram hiatus (again), here are some highlights of the CMYK screen printing workshop, held by @printclublondon this weekend (just gone). It was wonderful to have refreshed old skills and to learn new ones - and very exiting to see all the prints come to life. Here’s my toilet graffiti-inspired print, which was a lot of fun to create! The original design was made using a mixture of painting, collage and photography, which was remastered digitally, and then further remastered to create each of the 4 (CMYK) layers. Thanks again to Holly for facilitating the workshop so brilliantly, and guiding us through the whole process. Here’s another digital art print of ‘DJ’tili’, (our Pug DJ), this time in navy, green, red and metallic gold. It has been printed on A3 Invercote 400gsm card, and just the gold has a metallic sheen, which lights up and down, depending on what angle you’re viewing it from. (Please note, this piece was initially drawn in pencil/ by hand, before being digitally remastered). Available to buy through direct enquiry. It’s now been a week into the ‘Junction’ show, so a good time as any to share some photos of my print. Here is ‘DJ’tili’, a Pug DJ, digitally printed in navy, green, gold and neon pink on A2 Invercote 400gsm card. The card has a gloss finish and the pink really pops! It can be sold framed or unframed.
